The Latino Student Leaders Organization unites members of all cultures and ethnicities to advance the progression of diversity. LSLO strives to attain this goal through increasing knowledge of the Hispanic/Latino culture, by giving back to the community, and by maintaining awareness as well as respect for all cultures.

Meet Our 2018-2019 Officers
Kelly Aparicio
President
Hello, my name is Kelly Aparicio. I am a first generation student from Houston, Texas, but my family originally comes from El Salvador. I am a third year Kinesiology, Pre-Physical Therapy major and I hope to one day work with patients with prosthetics/orthotics. In my free time I like to explore all the local food gems hidden within Austin, dance, send memes to my friends, or go for a run at the river. As president of LSLO I am really hoping to create a sense of community on this campus that people can call home and establish a unique bond with one another from the beauty of our shared culture. Lastly, I LOVE meeting new people and getting to hear their stories/learning how they got here to this day, so feel free to stop me at any moment even if it is just to say hi (I guarantee it will make my day).
