Latino Student Leaders Organization aims to unite members of all cultures and giving back to the community. We've compiled a way that YOU as a member can help get involved and spread awareness of the Latinx community outside of LSLO.

ON CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT
Getting involved doesn't have to be hard. Heres a list of other ways you can get involved right here on campus!
Immigration - Monarchs on the Hilltop is a student organization committed to comprehensive immigration reform and legislation to promote the DREAM Act.
Culture - Ballet Folklorico uses traditional Mexican Folkloric dances, to help students become aware of the cultural diversity of SEU.
Empowerment - Latinitas U helps provide members with a platform to speak out on issues affecting the Hispanic community, Hispanic culture and traditions, and anything related to Hispanic heritage.

Arte Sana - helps to promote healing and empowerment for Latino/a survivors of gender and racial violence through the arts and community education.
Caritas of Austin - helps people in times of financial crisis by providing basic needs such as food and clothing as well as the education to move toward self-sufficiency.
Casa Marianella - helps to provide services and temporary shelter for immigrants and women and children escaping violence.
El Buen Samaritano - helps provide health care, food, advocacy, leadership, development, and education for working-poor Latino families.
La Pena - helps support artistic development, to provide exposure to emerging local visual artists, musicians, poets, and other performing artists, and to offer Austin residents the full spectrum of traditional and contemporary Latino art.
Latina Mami - helps support Chicana and Latina mothers and families by providing valuable resources and education.
Manos de Cristo - helps people in need by providing resources that will help them gain self-sufficiency.
